Born in Martinique, BABY G takes his first singing steps among the choir of his parish in Tivoli, he is then 10 years old. His calling is born at the same time as his voice. After traveling around with every sound systems on the island and recording his first album in Jamaica ("Hileaf"), he joins the french continent in 1998 where he meets collective DUB ACTION / HAMMERBASS and reggae-dub formation DJINS. The resulting album nationally distributed will be acclaimed by specialized press, "H.I.M" (Hammerbass Rec.), released in 2002 with renown featurings by GHETTO PRIEST from crew ON U SOUND, Yaniss ODUA or the fast MC JAMALSKI.
At the same time, he appears on the Elephant System album (Island) produced by dub guru Adrian Sherwood, and take part in compilation "Plus de cœur égal soleil" (Barclay) by PK Machine. In 2004, he pays tribute to Jimmy Cliff when interpreting hit "Reggae Night", single produced by BMG which will have a videoclip broadcast on many TV channels (M6, Trace TV, MCM...) and a french tour.
In 2006, BABY G joins collective BLB to produce several tracks for album "Ebene" next to Asher, Sinjahman, King Kalabash. They will perform together on many occasions nationally and also abroad (Belgium, Switzerland, Mali...), and will share the stage other renown reggae artists such as Lyricson, Daddy Yod or Daddy Mory.
