Coming from the punk-rock scene of Lima, three Peruvians create IAO LATINO SYSTEM in Nantes in 1995. Their influences goes from The Specials to Celia Cruz, from la Mano Negra to Peru Negro, from Ramones to Fabulosos Cadillacs, or from Los Rabanes to The Clash ! ! !
IAO LATINO SYSTEM grow on the road with a few albums. They’ve played on various locals and festivals sharing nights with various artists such as : Blankass, EV, K2R Riddim, or Ray Barretto and New World Spirit (Festival des Escales de Saint Nazaire), The Blues Brothers Band (Festival Fêtes de Massy, Paris), Sergent Garcia, Mad Caddies… The name of the band change for IAO went the band integrate a strong brass section.
