Waddle is the project of Pierre (Lubie / Tatiana Sauvage), Boris and Sébastien (ex-Weakids) and has been going on since October 2003.
Influences were here from the start : the parents of young Waddle could very well have met in a dark corner of the CBGB, Manhattan South, in 1981, during one of Sonic Youth's early concerts. This lively out and loud formation is a clever mixture of atmospheric verses and wild riffs. Uncles Pixies and cousin Mogwaï are never very far. The three musicians did not come to life in October for nothing : they surely know how to conjure up thunderstorms and lightnings !!
After a few stunning concerts in the area of Toulon and notably as opening act for KAOLIN & The MARRIED MONKS, Waddle record a couple of tracks at Charlyboyman's "red lab' ". Time and hrd work allow the band to impose their style, becoming more and more recognizable.
The year 2006 sees the recording with the help of Serge Gonnet of a 1st rough sounding album « October » released by Brock'N'Roll & Watsü Sound in September 2007.
