Sound on probation is a French label based in Paris, funded by Laurent Perrier in 1999 following the stopping of label/shop/mail order, “Odd Size”.
Musically, the label stands between electronica, dark hip-hop/dub, and industrial music (project zonk’t), experimental music, electro-acoustics and micro-sound (project Pylône), metal/industrial rock (project Cape Fear), jazzy lounge, ambient dub and soundtrack music (project Heal).
The website of the label also inludes a « shop/distribution » section offering a wide selection of CD/LP in the same musical vein at very competitive prices.
Finally, Odd Sound, label's studio, offers mastering services open to all at also very low rates.
